Rotaract Club of ICBT – Fellowship Through Service
Rotary is one of the world's first non-profit service organizations, spreading across the globe to make a positive impact on society. Rotary is globally recognized for its mission to eradicate Polio and uplift communities. In 1968, Rotary introduced the Rotaract program for young leaders aged 18–30, representing “Rotary in Action”. Since then, Rotaract has grown into a worldwide network promoting leadership, fellowship and service.
Introduced to Sri Lanka in 1969, Rotaract now includes over 70 clubs and 5000 Rotaractors, comprising youth from diverse educational, corporate and social backgrounds. The true strength of Rotaract lies in its diversity — uniting young professionals, entrepreneurs and students with one shared purpose: to serve humanity.
"Rotarians do remarkable work. You help the United Nations to achieve our goals."
"You have proved that when individuals come together, amazing things happen. That's what communities everywhere are built on."
The Rotaract Club of ICBT was founded by Masato Methun and chartered on July 1, 2018. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cinnamon Gardens, our club proudly brings together 70+ members from various ethnic and academic backgrounds — all united to make the world a better place.
To transform young dreams into sustainable actions through service, innovation and leadership.
To make a change in this world and show how powerful Rotaract can be. We believe that anything is possible when we work together.
